It started with a dream to immigrate to Canada and open a little pizza shop. Throw in a coveted pizza dough recipe from the old country, the freshest, top quality ingredients (many of them locally sourced), and great service and you’ve got a winning combination! When George Tsoulamanis moved to Canada 60 years ago, he didn’t speak a word of English but he pursued his dream and worked his way up in the restaurant industry. In the early 1970's he turned his dream into a reality and opened his own pizza place, Tops Pizza.
George, his wife Helen and their children grew Tops’ success over the years. Today their children continue to serve up the best pizzas in Calgary staying true to George’s mission – using the freshest, top quality ingredients and providing the best customer service.
